SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it can be alarmed in regards to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number sassa status check of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is sassa status check no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services website position created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
